A very successful and established Wealth Management practice based in Camberley has an excellent opportunity for a Practice manager to join their team.
The successful candidate will ensure the smooth running of the firm through optimisation of all business operations, service excellence and a happy working environment for all. They will manage the day to day activities and drive the business as per the agreed Business Plan.
Main Duties:
·         Ensure company’s core values are fully embedded in all business activities.
·         Act as an integrator between the Leadership Team and the rest of the team to ensure successful business development.
·         Validate and prioritise ideas put forward by the Leadership Team to ensure that targets set in the Business Plan are met and document and coordinate the implementation of the Business Plan.
·         Chair relevant meetings
·         Manage and oversee relationships with 3rd party suppliers (
·         Create internal service standards, and effective business processes and procedures.
·         Review business policies, processes, procedures, and internal service standards
·         Ensure all business service activities comply with relevant acts, legal & regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
·         Oversee the delivery of all general office and business administration
·         Oversee all IT services and systems with help of external consultants.
·         Ensure data security, IT, and disaster recovery policies are in place and working.
·         Oversee the development and documentation of accounting and bookkeeping policies and procedures for the business.
·         Oversee general accounting functions e.g. payroll, bookkeeping and invoicing.
·         Prepare financial statements and forecasts for the business (
·         Ensure that all business activities are in line with the FCA and ICO requirements and assist Senior Managers in keeping the firm compliant.
·         Ensure timely and accurate submissions of RMAR, Companies House and Inland Revenue returns.
·         Ensure that all business insurance policies are sufficient and current.
·         Manage the team across all sites and their workload to achieve set business goals.
·         Various HR duties including dealing with employment and leavers, establish and coordinate performance  objectives and training and development plans, maintaining holiday and sickness registers and overseeing remuneration packages.
·         Maintain and oversee company pension and group protection schemes
·         Organise and coordinate Team Days and other team functions.
·         Ensure that all Health & Safety regulations are met at all times.
·         Oversee marketing plans, objectives, and programmes within the context of the overall Business Plan and take responsibility for sign off.
·         Sign off on the annual marketing plan and budget.
·         Appraise success of marketing activities in relation to the overall business strategy.
·         Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and electronic diary management knowledge
·         Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety requirements
·         Excellent knowledge and understanding of broad principles and issues concerning Human Resources Management
·         Excellent team management ability with interpersonal skills to develop and maintain trust and inspire confidence
·         Excellent English language & grammar skills - able to communicate effectively in verbal and written form
·         Highly numerate
·         Highly organised, methodical and disciplined
·         Shows initiative and takes personal responsibility for completing tasks
·         Able to work within defined business processes
·         Adopts a positive attitude, willing to assist others when busy
·         Able to work under pressure to achieve deadlines
·         Excellent attention to detail
·         Ability to achieve agreed outcomes without supervision and prioritise and plan own workload
·         Innovative and creative thinker
·         3-5 years team management experience
·         Educated to Degree level (or equivalent)
·         At least 5 years relevant industry experience desirable
·         At least 5 years working within a financial planning environment desirable
